So I posted these two images that I made in a post together just shy of a year ago, and the post got 10,000+ notes. Today I saw a meme with a text convo of someone sending one of them to a military recruiter (which is extremely funny) and I thought “oh I should find that post again”

but when I went to find it, it had completely vanished. not just the original post, but even reblogs of it. I couldn’t even find screenshots anyone had taken of the original post. it wasn’t brought to my attention as a reported post, tumblr never even contacted me about deleting it, it just… disappeared

Also, don’t let this exciting new Ace Attorney news overshadow the other big Takumi-related event at the showcase today, which is that the Ghost Trick demo is now available, and you can play up to chapter 2 of that game! It will carry over to your full save later.

Shu Takumi gave this presentation in English, and he says he practiced very hard for two weeks to be able to do so. Though I know lots of us on my blog are primarily Ace Attorney fans, I strongly encourage you to try out Ghost Trick if you haven’t done so before.

Nintendo has announced Super Mario RPG for Switch. It is a remake of the Super Nintendo Entertainment System title Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. It will launch on November 17.

Lately I’ve been seeing a lot of decoden and polymer clay questions about what to use to as a gloss/glaze. Almost every time the first response is “Clear nail polish, duh!”.

This needs to stop if people want to be creating quality items. Sometimes I’m afraid to buy handmade things for fear that they have been sealed with clear nail polish and they will deteriorate over time. I want to buy things that will last!

Imagine what we could have, if they do make another live action RK movie, if they adapt Jinchuu. Because they could streamline the parts of the arc that were the weakest. Watsuki admitted he wished he had just had Enishi as a terminator character who destroyed everyone instead of getting all the other dudes who’s names I’ve forgotten besides Gein cus they didn’t matter.

And I always felt like the movies meant to, because there’s been flashbacks to Tomoe but the full story hasn’t been explained in the movie canon. And because the ending was a proposal, and that could be seen as a happy ending or a cliffhanger.

And imagine the Jinchuu arc a few months after Kenshin and Kaoru’s wedding. The movie starts with flashes of their wedding, of their joy, their happiness. Cute scenes of marital bliss. (Maybe have Kaoru be pregnant but I kinda think that would be going too far. I’m looking at you GoT)

And Kenshin thinks he’s safe finally. He thinks he’s finally hound home with his beloved adopted family and his beautiful wife and he’s finally letting himself be happy.

And imagine how much more heart wrenching, how much more soul destroying Enishi’s justice would be, then.
